Yeah I had it on the ground when I did it years ago. So I guess I'll order a new draw straw. Any thoughts on making a "cup" or "bowl" to help on keeping more fuel there?

There is a draw straw mod that uses the original fuel pickup. Not sure if ours can be converted back. I have been considering the fuel sump. There are two out there. One you have to drop the tank and one you don't. Guess which way I want to go.
Only problem is the tank needs to be empty to install it.
If we can find a way to empty the tank without dropping it, maybe Scott would be willing to lend a lift.

Its easy to drain the fuel. Drill a pilot hole where the sump will go. I've thought about the sump. My issue is that's where all the junk and water will lay, at the bottom of the tank. Plus with low fuel you will still have a slaushing issue.

Wow i feel like should be dusting of some spider webs on this forum. Haven't been on here for a while. Well here are some pics of my truck just this past Sunday. Had the seats redone (springs foam fabric) the subs boxes are out at the moment getting upholstered. The black on the top half of the truck is plasti-dip ( got tired of all the scratches). And as you can see i have the custom ms symbols embroidered on the seats and the stickers on the back.

My sound system actually got first place in its class at the car show i went to on Sunday. I hit 137Db. I know not many guys are into that kinda thing, but i love to do it.

Timing!!!

bootsdodgejn the truck looks good buddy! That thing looks loud! I have 2 10" infinity Kappas in mine and that hits ok! But I need more amp!

Hey Guys
I was just wondering If anyone would be interested in helping me time my pump on my 96 12 valve! I have tools but no timing stuff! I am willing to pay I just would like to learn how to do it and i am a little nervous to time it the first time by myself!
I can come to your house or you can come to mine! but if we do go to my house we will be working outside cause i have no garage! LOL! (I will soon)

I was going to take it down to arundel diesel and let them set it for me but I really want to learn how to do it! If no one can help Thats what I am going to do! They seem like really good guys!
Thanks
Eric

What a evening....
Pulled the trans pan, letting that drain overnight and going to change the Governer Pressure Sensor and Solinoid tomorrow. Also changed out the rear diff oil and pulled the fuel tank again. It was some much easier this time using the raptor to pump the fuel out. All my parts are due in by friday at the latest.

We decided to keep my Cummins for the long haul. No need to buy me a new truck. So All the little stuff that needed done is getting fixxed. Door panels, detailing the interior, new tires, and maybe even a nice riding Carli kit.

Back to hunting down an A/C leak again in mine. Did the evaporator and all a few years ago so can only be the condensor or compressor I guess. Time to get out the leak detector and see what it finds!!!
