So i went on the bucks website and found this.
NEW RULE NOTES:

1.Laptop computers are allowed for data acquisition purposes only. They must be mounted out of reach of the driver on the passenger seat or passenger side floor of truck.

2.Street Legal Rule D clearly states NO AFTERMARKET TURBOS. If you bought your turbo from anyone other than your dealer, you probably belong in the Modified Street Class

Granted i know none of us pull but just interesting.

Weird silence in here.
Well found out my vacuum pump went up on me. My luck it wasn't just the seal. Found out it is the driver coupler that broke. So got to see if i can just get that part or a whole new pump. Of course im hoping its the first one

So when we going to try to get a meet together. Been a while since all of us met up. Granted i know everyone is busy these days.

I've been real busy with David's Football practice and working lots of OT.
Fixing 34 of the 37 USCG pumps that Bobby said they probably wouldn't fix. Plus i've got my other customers pumps piling up for inspection and repairs.

Jason try http://fixinrams.com/. He has Vacuum pumps and parts. That's where most of us get our Vacuum pump seals from.

Anyone up for a little VP44 replacing??????

Truck died today and left me stranded......

Code 1693. I know that means nothing really, but have not had a chance to check the other codes..And no way to check them.. Need an OBDII scanner....Fuel pressure is great and getting fuel to injector #1. Can the pump go and still get fuel to one or two injectors, but not all and keep it from firing.?

I guess while I am at it, I should install a new fuel pump and tank sump.....

vp44 can die electronically and still move fuel to all the injectors but the timing is so far off it wont run, or the pressure is not near high enough to fire the injectors.

buddy of mine jsut replaced a vp44 that died suddenly in his driveway while idling with no codes.

Planning a big wheelin trip this spring to Harlen KY. What should I figure for Fuel? 500miles one way, using my dodge, 4.10 gears, 24ft goose with a wrangler and a grand cherokee. I figure 5500 for the grand and 4000 for the wrangler. trailer is 3500ish.

Is it worth spending a little more on a built pump, or should I just stick to the stocker....
