MD Chapter #33 Never Ending Thread Part VIII
one thing thou once the TC slips once it will slip even easier the next time. keith has slipped his and he is kinda babying it until he can rebuild his. i knew i would destroy mine so i built it before it ever slipped
BTW what did you get from Balistics?
You can get any length you need from Metal Express or Sar metal. Durett Shep you gotta get 20' lengths.
Figured I would pass this on. I have no concrete proof as of now, but I hope that it is not true. Please keep your comments rated PG, or post on the link.

Is the rebuild just that, or is it with aftermarket heavier parts/transmission?
Thanks!
I picked up some bushing ends with studs, some bushings, tubing inserts and some tabs.
Building something close to this....

For This

Along with a new height adjustment so maybe I can clear 35's one day.....

depends on what you rebuild it with you can rebuild it with stock parts or rebuild it with upgraded bands, TC, vb, ect. my tranny cost me $6100 and that was all billet shafts laminated flex plate and built to the hilt.

the main thing to upgrade is the valve body and torque converter. clutches, apply lever, and bands are good to upgrade too and not that expensive. billet shafts and laminated flex plates are recommended for anything over 400hp. tranny upgrades depend on what you want to end up with power wise in the end.
i ran my smarty jr on 100hp all the time, so it really didnt bother my truck

boo hoo
