My order came in from Ballictic Fab so I can start on my Long arms for the ZJ!

I can get some cheap (read work discount) from Durrett Sheppard (sp) when I pick up my DOM tubing if you want. Or I will have extra DOM if you are interested in purchasing some from me.

BTW what did you get from Balistics?

You can get any length you need from Metal Express or Sar metal. Durett Shep you gotta get 20' lengths.

That is only on custom ordered material. If they stock it you can get it in any length you want, or at least I do all the time for work.

Angry Letter to EPA from ATS

Figured I would pass this on. I have no concrete proof as of now, but I hope that it is not true. Please keep your comments rated PG, or post on the link.

Is the rebuild just that, or is it with aftermarket heavier parts/transmission?

Thanks!

What size Dom did you get?

I picked up some bushing ends with studs, some bushings, tubing inserts and some tabs.

Building something close to this....

For This

Along with a new height adjustment so maybe I can clear 35's one day.....

depends on what you rebuild it with you can rebuild it with stock parts or rebuild it with upgraded bands, TC, vb, ect. my tranny cost me $6100 and that was all billet shafts laminated flex plate and built to the hilt.

the main thing to upgrade is the valve body and torque converter. clutches, apply lever, and bands are good to upgrade too and not that expensive. billet shafts and laminated flex plates are recommended for anything over 400hp. tranny upgrades depend on what you want to end up with power wise in the end.

ATS (aka whistle blowers)

They kinda sound like Metalica crying over Napster.

"They're taking all our money" boo hoo

id do it right the first time and get everything replaced. when we pulled my tranny, my my fluid was burnt and my flexplate was pretty worn if i recall. i believe my tranny cost me around $5500- thats a complete tranny w/ valve body, torque converter, and billet input. i also bought a aftermarket flex plate. i didnt do billet intermediate or output cause i dont need them(yes i baby my truck, sue me)..

i ran my smarty jr on 100hp all the time, so it really didnt bother my truck
