Researching the issue could this be the problem?
Q. What if a dealer flashes the ECM and Mads Electronics Smarty was not returned to stock? Is my Smarty now useless?
A. We've been asked that question many times. Upon request, there is a "safety feature" in Smarty. Should a reflash happen without having Smarty returned to stock first, you need to contact us and tell us the serial # of your Smarty and the VIN# of your truck.
With that information we can provide you with a password that will allow Smarty to update your ECM. That password will work ONLY ONE TIME. That means that you can unlock Smarty from the ECM only one time.

just wanna introduce myself, my name is reggie collins from annapolis, ive been playing around with my 1 ton for a while now. got a set of cheap twin turbos from banks, banks fuel plate and spearco intercooler, nos system, south bend clutch, 6x22 injectors from DDP, and a few other odds and ends. im praying to dyno 908 on fuel only and 1105 on the bottle. hopefully i see you guys around sometime.

cheap(which is a relative term) twins doesnt mean small....

the turbos they use on their 1300hp duramax race vehicles (dragster and the s-10) are smaller than a stock hx-35.
Now that I think about it, I've seen his truck around. It smoked ALOT. Reggie, fill out your signature. I'll give you a hand on test and tuning if you want. Or you can just take me for a ride in it
