MIR was awesome, a few semi's there running in the 15's and one ran mid 14's but was a single axle so it didnt count for the record.

Yeah id say a get together is long over due

I have a dual 12" box for behind a reg cab seat should fit back there in the mega you can have if you want it.

Probably a Walmart brand. I was buying things on clearance and selling on Ebay for awhile. Got all kinds of crap down there to sell still. I bought this at least 3 years ago, still in the packaging.

depends on what youre looking for. a little bump in the trunk, the lightning audio (it is a wal mart brand) will suffice and be very affordable. if you want it to sound like youre at a concert everywhere you go, i would go with something else. but a cheap amp can push a cheap sub... and you need a nice amp to push a nice sub = $$$ so the real question is what is your budget and what are your goals?

I'd beg to differ - don't cheap out on the amp, get a decent one. The most important thing on the sub is understanding it and having it in the proper enclosure. I've got cheap subs and good amp, and I guarantee it will bump and sound like a concert all the time.

Happy birthday John!

Keith, I'm not saying a cheap amp is the only thing to push cheap subs, of course a good amp will sound alot better with cheap subs but I was trying to keep in mind the budget in the event there is one.

I am not trying to go nuts here just something for a little bump, its bad enough I am having to use a line level converter just to get the pre-outs. Cause i am not spending the money pulling my stock nav and **** out. But diesel dent i will take that box from you if you want to get rid of it

I don't have a smarty, but I just downloaded update. Well best I can tell. Size is right, 3.4mb. Also I assume it is the 07ver. I could zip it up and upload it if need be. If that would help. Let me know.

Peace

Got your PM downloaded fine to my compter.

Researching the issue could this be the problem?

Q. What if a dealer flashes the ECM and Mads Electronics Smarty was not returned to stock? Is my Smarty now useless?

A. We've been asked that question many times. Upon request, there is a "safety feature" in Smarty. Should a reflash happen without having Smarty returned to stock first, you need to contact us and tell us the serial # of your Smarty and the VIN# of your truck.

With that information we can provide you with a password that will allow Smarty to update your ECM. That password will work ONLY ONE TIME. That means that you can unlock Smarty from the ECM only one time.
