MD Chapter #33 Never Ending Thread IX
had good time at MIR on Sat. I need to practice more on my reaction time and dial in's. I got beat out by .03 of a second in the first round. Still, the jet rig was impressive. Some other fast truck trucks there too. I'm ****** at myself for not bringing my video camera....
Ended up an okay weekend, got work done early on Saturday and jumped on the boat for the maiden voyage this year to a buddy's house for his daughter's graduation party. Boat ran great (it is too quiet with all those spark plugs...hmmm a diesel retrofit...). Sunday after 4 weeks finally got a chance to clean up the truck (yes I hadn't washed it in 4 weeks, see what you miss with no more get togethers) and found HUGE rust spots on my driver's door arghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

So what are folks doing for this? Replacing the door? Repair and re-drill the drain holes so it doesn't happen again! I've got just over 100k on this beast, there won't be any door left by the time the engine goes!

Keith on my 01 when I bought it in 02 it already had them happening. I just drilled new holes closer to the seam, not where Dodge decided to put them. It stopped it from getting any worse, but from the sounds of it yours are already going. Depending on how bad it is depends on what the best route is to have it fixed. Some replace the doors and some can just cut it out and patch it. Replacing with anything but OEM will cause body lines and door gaps to be wrong, just an FYI.
anyone have any subs or sub they are trying to get rid of, i am trying to build a cheap system for the mega for a little more bass. Thinking about building my own box also since the one specific for my truck is 150 bucks
