Still a decent idea. Fuel pressure is less and less important for 2 reasons, one, you are not trying to feed a fragile VP-44, two the in-tank pumps seem to be more reliable than the older style(s).

The reason I decided on the above guages is because the wildest Im going to go is a Smarty Jr. From what Ive read, its the safest power adder and good for towing. Going with the guages first and then the Smarty in the spring(gotta save up).

No disrespect but BOMBing is a pretty slippery slope. I think the Smarty Jr is a gateway drug. Not that that is a bad thing .
Congrats on doing the gages first and adding power later. I think that is an important thing that is often tougher to do.

I hope I did it right...i drilled through the full size of the other WG opening, like 3/4" hole...its big and should really vent some gasses from the front cylinders

We got the Cummins out today.....What a ignorant SOB to pull! The hardest things were getting the intercooler out and the 20 or so little 10mm bolts holding the wiring harnass in place.

When it comes time to reinstall its going to take forever!

Thats not suprising at all, you walk out for a second if your truck or parts are in there and something is going to be improved, or starting to be improved before you get back

That'll do it. Before I drilled my WH1C like that I could make 38 psi with the wastegate wired open - and that was with smaller injectors.

Heading to Mexico next week (and the Caymans, Jamaica and Key West). We went this time last year and had a good time. Weather is usually great, water temps in the high 70's, air around 83 or so.

I thought they were all over your house planning the trip to KY in April!! I'm on the couch with my foot propped up as I was at a wedding earlier and have an awards ceremony with my hunting and fishing club later, and I'm supposed to stay off my foot (hahaha).

Still working on the wife for KY trip, but she'll give in. I think I felt my torque converter shudder today....uh oh....she won't like it when she hears I need a new tranny of the better than stock variety....
