Hello, since You are all local I thought I would ask here, I', looking for a shop where I can take engine heads to be tested and then rebuilt anyone know of a shop near Rockville MD?

UCF machine shop has experience with the cummins engines. 469 E north st carlisle, PA 17013. 717-249-8517. ucfmachineshop.com. It is a nice drive away but they do good work.

If you decide to go the UCF route, you can always drop the parts off at my shop in Mt Airy if it is more convenient for you. I make trips there on almost a weekly basis sometimes. I use them for a lot of my engine machine work and have been very satisfied with them. I have also had very good luck with Baltimore Mack located in Hagerstown. Only thing is they do not have tooling to do O-ringed heads. And that is a big part of my work.
I have a bottom end up there getting balanced right now along with a head getting some work done to it.

Thank You, I'm not doing any engine work right now but it is good to know/have this info. There is also some small stuff I need done and that is why I asked about a shop in My area but I'm almost convinced there isn't any of them anymore.
