New Toy
Hi,
I am in Northeast Texas about 125 miles east of Dallas, TX.
I have been working with diesels for a long time but have now retired. So it is time to play with a toy.
I have swapped the Dodge Diesel engine and auto transmission out a 1991-1/2 R2500 into a 1973 Ford 3500 P Van (it was used as a swat van in its old life). Road tested it two week ago for about 500 miles. Had no major problems. For some reason the batters were not being charged. The Alt is good and batters are good. Haven't had time to check any further. Also could not get transmission to shift into overdrive.
