Does anyone recommend a particular year for the Cummins Engine for a build project?

24V's are cheaper to bomb...

Common Rails will make more power, but will empty your wallet in the process.

JMHO, but I would look for 04.5's thru early 07's...

Other than the DPF, what else changed in '07?

 

Went from the 5.9 to 6.7...

Lots of discussion on all the emissions junk on the 6.7's here...
