Hi all, I'm new too.
Greetings from Nebraska. My truck is a 99 Dodge Ram club cab, I am having some problems with my truck and looking for some help for a DIY'er.

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram club cab 2500 5.9L cummins and had the transmission rebuilt. Transmission shop stated that the transmission was bad and after replacing the transmission I still have the same problem, Transmission was not the problem. Transmission still will not upshift. There is a code set in the pcm P1693. Any suggestions on this problem?

Ive read that a 1693 is a companion code stating there is another code in the ecm. Have you checked your fuel pressure?
