Just wanted to say hi. I have an 07 w/ a 5.9L with 137K mi. It is presenty at Sheid in Lafayette IN getting a rebuild. Burned up #3 piston. Here are some pics of the beast.

Yes I have found quite a bit of good info. I have been browsing the site for about a year now. Finally decided to take part in the festivities.

It is mostly stock. The guys at Sheid said the failure was do to the block not being machined properly in the first place. Improper piston to cylinder wall clearance.

I have updated my signature. It shows the list of mods.

 

Well, I've heard nothing but good stuff from them...
