Unhappy Won't Start

I disconnected the baterries for about 30min and when I reconnected them, the truck wont start. It cranks so the batteries arent dead or anything.

When I connect the smarty, it gives me an error code(#112 Wrong communication). Not an engine trouble code.

Please help I have class in an hour.

Thanks

Sounds ECM related.

What was your reason for having it disconnected?

I had the same amplifier on before but had disconnected it for two months and was reconnecting it today.

Hang on, I'm searching and thinking.

Common sense (and retarded personal experience) is telling me that you have something unhooked or have blown a main fuse in the engine bay.

Take a quick look at some of your fuses, only takes a minute or two to pull them.

I just checked all the fuses in the box and they were all fine, I replaced the Ign switch fuse with a new one just in case.

What is the IOD fuse?
