won't start
won't start
1992 TCD for no reason the truck will not shut off (intermitten problen, no predicting when) let it run and sometimes it shuts down in a few min. other times need to cut off air. Sometimes truck won't hit a lick despite fuel at injectors. go away cuss awhile and it may start right up. Had it towed to garage when got there it started up and ran......... again intermitten problem HELP WHATS GOING ON?????
On the "won't die" problem: Sounds like the shutdown solenoid has gotten munched up. Get it from your local VW dealer, tell 'em it's for an '85 Jetta with a diesel.
The no start issue may or may not be related. Have you tried bleeding the high pressure lines when you encounter the no start?
