Brake controller help
Brake controller help
I am going to be pulling an enclosed 24' car hauler this week , and i needed a brakes controller, I borrowed the one out of my dad's 97 , it was just plugged in with a 4 pin connector. After about an hour of looking , then finally a search on here , i found outmy 95 doesn't have said 4 pin connector , i downloaded the install instuctions for the brake controller, and have it mostly installed, The only thing left is to find the wire to tap into the brake lights , where is a good place to find this wire under the dash?
Thanks in advance, i am leaving to pick the trailer up in a few hours.

That was the one! Thanks for the help.
I had to go pick up the trailer with no brakes , because after i got the controller wired in , i found it it was a dud , i guess it had been unplugged in my fathers truck for a good reason , it will apply the brakes completely at random , and release them just as randomly , sometimes pressing the manual application button several times will make them release , but not always. The trailer is not very heavy , so ran it tonight (100 miles +/- with no brakes , and it stopped just fine.
