Trying to tie into marker light wires at front of truck for extra lights.Any body know what color wire to tap with out me trying them all.The harness i found has about 6-8 diffrent color wires in it. Thanks

My Haynes manual has the color for marker lights as being Yellow all the way through. The turn signal wire is black, then turns tan just before it gets to the light.

I personaly dont like tapping into the original harness to add lights. My recomendation would be to use a 12v relay and use marker light for the trigger. Then go directly from battery with a fuse to your additional lights alot safer than overloading the stock harness the marker light circuit is a week link on these trucks.

bishgeo I agree with the other post use factory light feed as relay trigger only as the wiring in these trucks is too light already. Just wired 17 LED's into new deck that draw .03 amps less than factory "2" tail light bulbs and headlight switch stays cooler. Also these trucks have the computor integrated into the wiring and sometimes picks up voltage drop in light feeds and will cause head aches. PK
