I was working on a 97 today and the solonoids to the intake heater were not turning everything checks out but the owner had the four smaller wires off of the solonoids and I was wondering if any one has a wireing diagram if the could tell me which color wires go where I have pos chilton manuel but it does not cover much of the diesel what a waist of 20.00 dollars. My 1996 CD manual lists yellow/black and Light green/black to #1 solenoid and light green/black and orange/black to #2.

 

Berner there is two of the same size terminals on each solonoid does it matter which one goes where. Matt

 

The light green/black both go to terminal #1 on each solenoid.

 

Berner sorry for all the questions is the number one terminal the one toward the front of the truck?

 

I went out and checked my truck. I couldn't see any #'s on the terminals but the green/black wires are on the rear terminals on both solenoids.
