Wire Short
the tech facts my trucks a 93 /a 518 i rebilt it this summer after i wrecked it i did the led dash light con, using Jim Lanes post as a guide ,sunday i was heading home and my instrament panel fuse blow , i just took my dash apart checked the wiring it looked good ,so i moved on , i unplugged the instrament panel pulled the light swich out really wiggled the wires ,the fuse did'nt blow ,i plugged the panel in pulled my light swich out and the fuse fried instintly , now what id like to know is if the short is in the panel like i think has anybody had this problem before what did you find and IF it isn't in the panel where could it be? ,couse im stumped

Could be the style of LED's you are using. Some of them have contacts on both sides that will short out in some sockets. Ran into that problem on my Benz.

thanks wanna il check that ,now how about an oil gauge that works oh say every three ,four starts for about two times then dosent work for a while then works, then dosent ,any ideas?
