Re:water sepperator
Welcome to the site dodgedude361,
I'm not sure on the 03, but my 99 has a little yellow lever on the side of the fuel filter housing. Even though my owners manual recomended opening it every other fuel stop, I only empty mine when I change the fuel filter every7500 miles or so. I've never seen any water in it (I buy my fuel at stations that do a large volume of diesel business, which by the way is not a 100% guarantee that you won't get water in it) and it does have a warning light. I think the majority of folks do not drain them every other fuel stop.
But that is my opinion, and like I said,,,, I have no knowledge of the 03 procedure. I'm surprised that the owners manual doesn't cover this procedure. Maybe someone with an 03 can be of more help. If not, I would call the dealer. ;D

Re:water sepperator
I LOVE to build model cars and airplanes, had many of them trashed by my kids when they where growing up, some where works of art, airbrushed and detailed, but before I ATTEMPTED to assemble one, I ALWAYS READ THE INSTRUCTIONS....HINT HINT
