valve body ???

Angry valve body ???

what is the trick to instaling the valve body the rod that faces the rear of the truck will not go far enghuff back for the valve body to fit properly im asumeing that the hole that the rod sits in is small and not taperd and i missing it let me know what u all know

hi
raise rear tires and rotate drive shaft slowly while installing valve body park rod .
when park paw drops in a notch the rod will slip in !

That helps, and it is a little off from where you think it is. I wrap front end of shaft with length of wire and use screwdriver to guide into shaft. Use feeler gauge the hold spring and accumulator in place while installing VB. Use a pan bolt to hold feeler gauge in place. With wire and screwdriver can get rod into lever. A pair of needle nose pliers holding clip will help. Tie a piece of thread on E clip, so when you drop you can find.
