if you find out its the contacts on the starter. I hear they can burn through anc cause intermiddent problems? call Bob at Metro Bob's distributing. 1877-543-7563 sounds like a small operation but a nice guy. he sells solid steel stuff now. actually solid steel told me to buy from him it was cheaper. anyway he has a starter "rebuild" kit that has new contacts and what not for around 29.99$ if thats your problem. FYI hes in CA for time zone

that doesnt sound like the batteries are bad
i say you fuel shut-off relay and/or solenoid went bad
check your blue wire that run from you driver side battery make sure that still good, you might have done something to it when you were jump starting it ??

oh p.s. foster truck has one of the lowest prices for all that stuff

Ya know, whoever buys it will SURELY appreciate having a matched set of new batteries, instead of some mixmatched crap that will fail sooner than later. This kind of "I'm selling it, so I'm gonna rig it up just so it'll start" attitude really gets under my skin.

The guy I'm buying my truck from is changing the oil, the tranny fluid, and is putting a new windshield in it... and his good attitude is getting him his full asking price. When I went looking for a truck and saw things like mismatched batteries and other fixes that the owner should know better about, it's an instant turn-off, and my offer starts going down immediately. You lose any confidence that the truck was cared for and maintained properly.

Pay it forward....
