Truck wont run....

Just recently i replaced my vp-44. Drove it for like a week with no problem except it was a little harder to start, i would have to let the 30 second primer run before it would fire up, until yesterday after noon it would start up and ideal fine but if you would go to bring up the rpm's to about 2100 it will die no codes are flashing and i have replaced the MAP sensor and readjusted my APPS. After it dies it will not let me start in until in sits for a wile or i unplug both the engine control fuses. Any suggestions would help alought thanks.

With your mods, I'm sure you've covered the basics, but:

What does your fuel pressure gage say? Post filter?
Have you tried a code reader?
Disconnetced both battery cable for awhile to reset the ECM? I guess you done that to reset the APPS.....?

the fuel gauge wile running will be at 16 psi, when the truck ran it would hit mabe 14 psi with my foot on the floor. The code scanner read the governor pressure code witch i can adjust with my DTT transmission regulator. I have not un hocked my battery but i thing it is worth a try. Any other ideas.... I need to get to work tomorrow

Have you looked for air leaks in the fuel lines?

Is there a way to detect them because that might be the reason it was hard starting after the vp install.

There might be a small amount of fuel...? Otherwise, I would just tighten all the connections in the fuel line, filter, pump and injector lines. Don't forget to check the return line, too.

I have been through all of the fuel line and found a leek in the return line that attaches in the back of the head. I have tried to bleed it but the truck still will start and run fine to about 1800 Rpm's and die. Could there be air in that return line causing it to die like this or could i have over looked something.

you might have to crack a injector line and have some one start the truck so you can be at the ready to shut the injector line off once the air is gone

The only code that was flashed since i stated working on the truck was the ATPS code. The pedle position sensor tag reads .58 volt right now it reads .59 volts. Could this be part of my problem?
