Truck WILL NOT start!

I have an early 1998 dodge 2500 with the 12 valve cummins. I ran it out of diesel during an emergency and THOUGHT i could make it, plus i didn't have time to stop and fill up. I have tried to prime the fuel system ( several pumps!), i've tried cracking the injectors, pumping the primer as well as turning it over. It has a fuel filter that has the yellow bleeder on the side, and is one that i haven't messed with personally. I can't get any fuel to squirt out of the cracked injector lines and i'm runnning out of options. I need my truck for work, since we only have one vehicle, so i'm on a time crunch! PLEASE let me know if there are any other methods or tricks that i can try, i would greatly appreciate it!

Open the bleeder on the top of outlet from the fuel filter a couple turns then pump the primer until air free fuel comes out then close.
Loosen the first three lines at the injector and turn over engine till fuel appears.
Tighten them back up and it should start.
I usually give a lot of throttle till it starts and runs good.

First thing, can you get fuel to come out of the filter?

Without a Lift Pump, she isn't going to run.

Open a line to the IP, bump the starter and see if you have fuel at the banjo bolt.

If you don't after a couple of cycles. fix the LP, if you do, crack Injector lines 1,2,4 ( or any 3 that are easiest to get to ) with your handy dandy 19 MM box end wrench, and crank her over till she hits.
