2002 ram 2500 5.9 Installed superchips tuner on medium (towing under 6000lb) when I go to pass someone it will take off great but seems to just die when I get up to speed. letting of pedal gets it back to ok. any ideas? just had tranny lift pump and tps replaced. also put on bhaf and had resonator taken out.

 

If you remove the Super?chips program, does the problem still occur?
If so, the programmer sounds like it's faulty.

 

dying vp44=dead pedal.

 

In my case
Dead VP = Dead Truck. (Got towed home)
Dying APPS = Dead Pedal.

Get the codes read and see what they indicate.

Whats your fuel pressure reading? you do have a guage... dont you?
