truck cranks all the time
ok i was moving my truck over a spot so it want in the way to move my brothers project car(eclipse GSX), and not the starter cranks all the time even with the key off, i also notice that it has be burning up the start solenoid fuse under the hood alot, twice in the last 3 months. so what do you guys think. i'm gonna start testing some stuff later today when it starts to get nice out. can any one bird dog me in the right direction??

You need to disconnect the batteries .
Then replace the contacts in the starter solenoid [ there are larger ones avalable as an upgrade ] .
Whats happening is the contacts are fusing together .

It is your starter contacts. They are probably worn out. Same thing happened to me, my truck actually had flames from the fuel solenoid. You need to get it fixed, buying $175 solenoids is not fun. I had a new one burn up, and had to get another one, all because of the starter contacts. The kit costs 20-30 dollars from Larry B. Just google Larry B starter contacts or Foster truck. MONEY WELL SPENT. Any one with a truck with some age one the starter should get new contacts before it turns real expensive. the kit was REALLY easy to do.

Also get fuel solenoid from them, they are cheaper their, that way if yours is shot or goes bad, you wont be stuck.
