Exclamation Wont start

I have a 2002 Dodge 3500 and I have to park it pointed down hill in order for it to start. Does anyone have any idea why it would do this??

Either your lift pump is out, and by parking down hill fuel is forced through it to the injection pump. OR the check valve in the injection pumpr which leads to the return line is stuck and fuel is draining from the injection pump. Parking down hill helps keep fuel from flowing back. This is actually where I'd put my money.

Then I'd say that it might be the return check valve in the VP-44.
