Transmission Trouble

I have a 5-speed manual transmission ,today the truck was cutting out and the transmission light came on, the codes it throws up are p- 1693 and p-0122 does anyone know those codes and prices on tranny's? The truck is a 2001 Dodge 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive.

How does a manual transmission slip?? I would be more apt to believe that the clutch is slipping. A clutch is a whole lot cheaper than a transmission too.

Fill out your sig in the user cp at the left top of page area so we know what you are driving. A slipping clutch though shouldn't throw any codes. Those codes are P0122-APP SENSOR SIGNAL VOLTAGE and P1693-DTC DETECTED IN PCM.

I cleaned the posts on the battery and the transmission light went out, but codes are still there, does that make any sense? What is APP sensor?
