trans problems

I just installed my trans I had Tim install new clutches and steels in the front and rear drums, I installed new clutches in the overdrive unit. just got everything installed and I have reverse but no forward gears and when I try to put it into park it grinds geare. I am hoping it is the shift linkage cause tim really knows his trans and the overdrive unit was within specs when I put ti back together. any ideas the get this truck to go forward?? thanks Robert

Park pawl is on the output shaft. Guess you have to ask yourself why is the output shaft turning when I'm sitting still trying to put the trans in park? I was thinking Tcase not in gear properly.....but you stating you have reverse blows that theory out of the water.

i think I have if figured out I think the shift linkage is out of adjustment. If I move the shift lever on the side of th etrans it shifts fine but If I use the column lever if seems to get stuck between gears. it has yet to grind the gears again when I go into park??
