Trans Fluid and Filter Change GOOD IDEA???

Hello everyone after all the motor upgrades on the truck im worried about the tranny. Should i change the fluid and filter or no? The truck has 132,000 miles on her, i dont know when or if it was ever changed? I pulled the dipstick out tanite and it is still red and really doesnt smell burnt, i was always told with higher millage trucks if you change the fluid and filter, it then becomes a time bomb! It still shifts fine but im now worried about changing it, and having it take a crap on me , your input would be greatly appreciated.

Just dropping the pan and changeing the filter will be ok. Its only about 4 or 5 quarts that way. Flushing the whole system is whats not good with the high milage stuff cause you can loosen up the stuff stuck in the cooler or anywhere else then it can get in the vavlebody and cause problems. The whole system holds a few gallons. But just doin the filter change will be all right.
