Anybody ever have trouble with the connection plug on the top of the transmission. I just put on a new Suncoast Valve Body and they mentioned that you should put di-electric grease on the terminals to prevent corrosion.

Your TPS can be adjusted also before you decide to toss it . If it is not sending the correct voltage it will unlock and lock and drive you crazy. I still havent got mine right but am on the right track I hope. Check out the link below. I drilled out the mounting holes like in the article and it will adjust the voltage(clockwise to increase). Check it with meter hooked up and tighten it down when you get it to 1 volt or so. I was able to get a reading by sticking the meter probe into the center of the plug where the wire goes in and not shaving any wire insulation. I had initially drilled mine and cleaned it out with contact cleaner but it seemed to continue to work better when cleaned initially then spraying wd40 through the holes. Then I took the entire thing apart too see what made it tick, not much there for 180$ for sure. Ill go and buy one of the Radio shack potentiometers before Illl pay that kind of money for a 10$ part. It takes time and is a pain but hopefully youll get it right and maybe learn something in the process.
