I have some issues with the torque converter locking and unlocking rapidly at times. i am told it very well might be rf interfearance from the alternator wiring between the pcm and the aps. i was told there are several fixes available. anyone have some info on fixing this demon. thanks in advance to any one that can help.----pete

 

mine did what you are describing like crazy...i tried APPS reset and a dealer reset=no go...
I bought a "filter" from DTT and also ran another ground from the PCM ( i just spliced into one of the grounds and ran it directly to the battery ground) and also, make sure your terminals are clean on the battery, I did this 6 months ago and it han NEVER ONCE done it again...always locks when it should and stays locked.

Hey the Dodge Dealer did this to my truck and it works great. This e-aby kit should do the same thing.

DODGE 4X4. i bought the e-bay kit and sent it back. i talked to scott the guy who made the kit. it fits the 12 valve cummins. the kit is a rewire from the pcm to the aps. the 1998.5 and newer have a cummins ecm along with the pcm so it wont work. i sent him all the wiring info and he said he would look into it. he sent me my money back right away. good guy to deal with.
