You should be able to tell if you have an air leak by looking at your boost gauge. When my lower boot was blown partly off, it would almost make full boost but at cruise I had zero.

I drove it about 120 miles today with the EZ in the 2 hole. The truck ran OK, but still seems to have an intermittent problem. It's not missing or smoking too much, but it doesn't seem just right. You know how it is when you drive something every day.....you can tell when things change a little.
I had lower boost yesterday with the EZ on the one slot, but didn't really notice it today. It seems to be more noticable when the outside temp heats up in the afternoon. At least it's acceptable until I get time to figure it out.

Thanks again for all the help,
CR

Have someone pull the codes from the computer if you have any.

I asked about that at Autozone the other day, and the guy said if the "Check Engine" light was not on, their tester couldn't check it. I don't know, so I couldn't argue with him.

I've tried the key on/off three times and can't get that to work. If you have no codes, what happens?

They should be able to pull the codes whether the light was on or not. Go back and demand they pull the codes.

Out of THOUSANDS of codes that can be set, relativly few will set a Check Engine light.

Go back, and ask them to check the codes. It is VERY, VERY possible to have a code set w/o a Check Engine Light, and not unreasonable for you to ask to have your codes checked w/o a Check Engine Light.

I didn't get the codes read, but I'm sure this is related to the outside temp. This morning, the temp was about 60*, and the truck ran like new.

EZ still in the 2 hole, acceleration was good, no hesitation and no excessive smoke.
