Hey guys, i got a injector stuck in the bore. Any ideas how to get it out? I tried prying and working it backand forth, but it aint working. This is on a first gen too. Number 6 cylinder.
Thanks

Slide hammer works wonders. Find a nut that fits the injector and a nut that fits the slide hammer, weld them together and you can pop the injector right out. If you don't have a slide hammer, you can weld a piece of allthread (or a long bolt, head end down) to the nut, drop a short piece of pipe and a washer over the injector and allthread, then put a nut on the allthread and tighten it down to pull the injector.

I got it. Had to go get a slide hammer, but i already had a old nut from a 3306 cat nozzle. She came right on out of there. It looks as if the copper washer was leaking. It was carboned and sooted up something fierce.
Thanks,
Aaron
