Has he tried anything like "911" to remove water. I could be wrong, but I don't believe Howe's, or most of the injector cleaner's don't remove water. Might want to have him read the label.

Also, if the filter got black that fast, wouldn't that be algea. Might want to treat for that as well.

 

Made it home last nite and say's it is running fine. Can bad fuel cause injector or other problems down the road ?

 

Not if the filter is doing it's job,think the worst of it's over.
