Son is down in Checotah Ok. Fueled at a Loves in Seminole and problems started shortly after---
Changed fuel filter twice and the second fuel filter is BLACK already. Called Loves and they said they could'nt address the issue until tommorrow morning when their district manager comes in.
Codes up after changing the second filter were

Sounds to me like he lost/ is losing power &/or ground. Mine thru the 2509 along w/ a few other codes when I incorrectly unplugged a module. I don't think fuel would be at fault & throw a code that states multi. systems are showing power loss. This is all I can think of. Sorry I'm not more help & I hope everything works out.

this should have been addressed by the 06 model year, but check the wiring harness to the A/C pump. The older 3rd gen trucks had a habit of wearing through the insulation on the wire going over one of the lines, causing a short that would throw multiple codes for no apparent reason.

The coolest part was, after reset, it was never the exact same list of codes twice. It would also throw the truck into limp mode, or cause a high idle issue, cylinder misfires, bad shifting, etc.

Not saying this is the solution, just something to look at.

I don't think it was happening on the 06,,but have him look for the chaffed wire mentioned above. It's worth a try. Here's the thread.

Well if he can make it to Bartlesville (HWY75), I've got a warm turkey dinner and some time to help.

Well i haven't heard from him since yesterday morning so i am assuming he got it going and is on his way home..
Someone local where he was broke down came on to the scene and was a Dodge 12v guy who works on Dodge deisels at a local dodge dealership.
Was able to get him a couple more filters and a couple bottles of Howes fuel treatment.
Said he took two or three gal out thru the filter line and got him going. When i last spoke to him he said it was still running a little rough but thought it might straigten it self out.
