I have a 1998 2500 Dodge 24 valve. It started this yesterday. Engine starts fine then immediately dies. Starts back just fine. Any suggestions.

welcome to DTR. well you need to know the fuel persure going in the Injection pump and you need to scan for codes. 98 will need a code reader the key trick don't work till 01. without that imfo. we would just be shoting in the dark

 

Start with the basics. It could be the air filter, then maybe fuel filter.... Let us know how it goes.

 

Does your truck have a factory security system? If one of the fuses for the door locks blows your truck will start and then die. Check the fuses under the hood, power distribution box.
