Split Tranny Cooler

The dealer has my truck down for a split ( and supposedly leaking )tranny cooler. I watch trans temp religiously and havn't noticed any change in temps. They want $350 to do it, as it is not covered under the 72K powertrain. Has anyone replaced theirs and is there any alternative for a replacement besides the dealer at $196.00 (7-10 days out here in Alaska)? Need to make decision asap before they go ordering part if there is an alternative.

Thanks,
Drew

You can get an aftermarket trans cooler, but you allready have a very good plate type cooler, an you'd pay at least $100 plus the modifications to install it.
