Shaking at Idle

Im new to the cummins thing so if this is a stupid question just let me know. but like my sig says i got an 06 2500, just put in the edge and did the silencer ring mod, now when it warms up it has a very rough idle. not sure what is causing it. and im getting tired of the wife naggin saying that **** you put on there is ruining our truck.

any help appreciated!!

I would take the Edge off and return the truck back to stock and see if it acts the same. It could be a bad box from Edge.

Could be a bad connector on one of your injector plugs, that happened to me when I put the Edge in my '05. I looked carefully at the plugs, and one of the connector pins wasn't snapped in correctly from the factory. Easily fixed with needle-nosed pliers.

ill have to check the injector plugs, sounds like a reasonable problem if your not careful. if that dont work ill just take it off and see if it still does it. thanks guys

any other infor would be appreciated

well i checked the plug in today and they looked ok, but im at work and no time to check it, ill let ya'll know tommorrow what the result is!!

It's easy to bend the little pins inside the plugs if you aren't careful while connecting them. I bent one trying to put my Quad boost fooler on. I would unplug the plugs and check for that too...

i didn't even think of that, i know here at work we are having alot of problems with the powerstrokes and the fuel systems ie the injectors and pump because of the fuel in the area. ill have to change the filter, i have to change the oil anyways so ill do that too.
