safety airbag light.?

safety airbag light.?

i cant get the air bag light to go off the fuse is good. i dont know why it is on..
what do yall think.?

I dont know about such things but my manuel says that a DRBIIIt scan tool (whatever that is) is required to figure out what the problem is. Hopefully somebody will chime in with more info. Maybe its not as complicated as the manuel indicates but you should assume that your bag (bags) are not functioning properly until you get it checked out.

thanks michael

It means your air bag system is in default failure mode. In other words, if you hit something, the bags won't deploy.

I will almost guarantee you it's the clock spring in the column. Just had one replaced on the wifey's car. Airbag light would not go off and then the horn quit working. Clock spring is the culprit here.
