Removing Return Lines from P/S Pump

I have 99 4x4 and I am trying to get the vaccum and steering pump off but I can't get the return lines to pull off and there isn't really any room to get a screw driver in there to pry on the end of the hose. Is their any trick in getting them off?

Thanks
Chris

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Go ahead and cut them. The replacement hoses aren't that expensive for your to worry with for another half hour. The new ones will be softer and easy to get on and will seal easier.
