What is the trick to reinstalling the spring in the egr motor ??? Ive screwed the spring retainer bolt (corkscrew looking bolt that holds egr spring on the egr motor) in until it seems to catch. You can only screw it in so far until the flat part of the bolt hits the housing. When I cycle the key off and then back on, it pushes the bolt back out, basically unthreading it. Is what Ive done ok since it will have pressure against it when it is bolted back to the other half of the housing? We have not started the truck yet, I wanted to make sure this was right before we fired it up.
