Power Steering Pump

Power Steering Pump

My lid on my pump leaks fluid out bad :- . I was wondering if any of yall has had this problem and if the repair is as simple as a new lid ???

There should be no leakage from the cap unless the pump was filled to the hot line when it was cold, or the cap is defective.

If the fluid is foamy when you pull the cap, you need to check for air leaks in the inlet hose.

No it isn't overfilled but, I will look for the air leak maybe that is my problem.
