Angry possessed 2500! help

I just bought my first diesel and it seems to have a mind of its own.
The lights are turning on by them selves, the horn honks randomly by itself, and the PRNDL12/ milage occasionally not displayed or partially displayed???
I dont know where to start first. Anyone experience this before?
fuses good
connections at bottom of PDC look good
connections at headlamp switch/ ignition switch appear good
no visible damage to wiring that i can see (burnt, open, or chaffed wires)

need help very annoying and really embarrassing, sooo not funny

I'm guessing you have a remote starter/anti theft system? If so could you be accidentally pressing some buttons or is it set to start every so often? Try removing and reinstalling the plug on the back of the instrument panel, there could be a dirty or loose connection there causing intermittent operation of the display.

That, or the horn blows if you put it in reverse with the door open and take your foot off the brake........

i took my truck in for a recall and only because it was a safety recall to the doors they said. well long story short they putt a sensor in and what it dose if i try to go in reverse with the driver door open. the horn honks or if i putt it in park and get out of the truck to fast the horn honks. its really annoying. if i could fined what they did to my truck at the dealer. i would take it out or undo it so i dont have this problem

There is no undo for the horn honk flash. You can add a toggle switch, and cut the power to the horn. Only flip it on when you need the horn. heck, You can get a simple old fashion horn button, screw it to the floor, and operate the horn from there.
