overfilled oil on change

That's true. The Cummins part number on the incorrect one was 3944594.

My 04.5 always reads low after a change. Book says 12 quarts. i buy 3 gallons of Rottella Synthetic. I dump it all in and start it up. Always reads down 1/2 quart to a quart. But if I let it sit it comes up to perfect level.
