ok guys i got the valve body out and i was wondering if the parking rod is suppose to move back and forth? i got the eclip off pita and i was wondering if the rod can move and if it is ok if it moved and didnt come out thanks nick

 

new issue now i cant get the thing into park. i got all the other gears with it but when i have the trans linkage on it doesnt want to go into park for some reason but if i have it off it will any ideas

 

rais the rear wheels to alow the drive shaft to rotate and try putting in park while rotating driveshaft slowly .
if that does not work you may not have park rod installed properly .
