If you read the fine print you would have seen that Ive been here for over 2 1/2 years - so maybe thats the reason I have a few posts behind my handle...

I dont claim to be an expert...NEVER SAID I WAS.

But I guess, being a "certified mechanic" makes YOU an expert.

Whatever, have a good one buddy

Exclamation Excuse me,,,,,,,,, Nurse,,,,,,

You know,,,,, if I were having chest pains and walked into an Emergency Room expecting help,,,,,, the last thing I need is two doctors spending more time arguing about who is the better doctor than trying to help me as I turn blue. I think I would go to a different hospital. With that said, could we get back to helping the original poster out? It wouldn’t hurt to throw a “To the best of my knowledge” or “In my opinion” into these posts every once in a while. We can always agree to disagree! Thanks guys
Now I really have to go do something about these chest pains,,,,

Dr. Evil if you are a "doctor" maybe you should stick to medical forums and discuss how to fix hangnails and such, not things you are not well versed or knowledgeable in, your "bedside manor" is not the best accusing me of being ignorant, look in the mirror.

If you have never changed a head gasket, how can you comment on it. I have done lots of them over the years, and for about 4 straight years was strictly a Diesel engine repair/rebuild technician at an International and Peterbilt dealership.

I was merely stating for RCW to back up his statement with FACTUAL PROOF of his comments about head bolt replacement directly from Cummins(such as a TSB), and not just rely on his "TRUST ME" statement. I never questioned his knowledge or credentials, just his opinion about having to change them each and every time, even if found to be good. I have stated my knowledge and opinion on the subject and backed it up, just looking for the same from him.

Good point Rattlin Ram, sometimes these forums turn into personal attacks instead of giving ones OPINION, and their information about topics. Some people just can't be civil, and stray from the actual topic at hand turning it into an attack instead of a helpful response. That's why you're here. Nuff said.
