oil pressure problems
oil pressure problems
i have a 1999 dodge 3500, it has 163,000 miles on it. the oil pressure has never dropped below 40 psi or so.last night we were leaving and the pressure went up and dropped to 0psi 2 times. with the mileage on the truck i am guessing it is not the oil pump, i am leaning toward the oil pressure switch.*********** i was wondering if someone could tell me where it is located on the block and what it actually looks like? i called the local dodge dealer and they said it was $220.00 dollars, does this sound like the correct price?please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!
i was looking around and found the oil sending unit. i took it out and it has a couple of numbers on it.3348749 is one 10703 and A0599. does it sound like i pulled the correct part off. it had a pigtail with three wires going into it. and if anybody knows if the price is correct of $220.00 dollars? thankyou
