Question oil leak

I have a 24 valve 01 Dodge duallie with a 5.9 Cummins. I noticed last night that I have a oil leak coming from the drives side. It seems to be coming from , what seems to be, under the intake manifold. Does the cummins motors intake come off, and would this leak?? Any suggestion of what it could be? I will take a pic and try submitting it as soon as I can today.

Do you mean from under the intake manifold?

Sounds like the Vacuum pump is leaking, very common on our trucks.
here is a link to the fix.

I checked the pump and its not from there. It is leaking from behind the ecm( on the picture provided its #15) and just to the right of it behind some shield. It looks like a heat shield.

Unless I'm mistaken there is a side cover in the area you referenced but I haven't seen many of them leak. Best bet is to steam clean the engine to pinpoint it exactly, if it is the side cover it goes the full length of the motor and is a royal pain to change.
