nuber 5 injector leak???

I bought a set of used 370 injectors for my truck and all but one of them went in and do not leak, and the first time it was spraying abit. I have done some searching and many people say it is probably the copper ring not sealing correctly. So I pulled it out again, there was some "gunk" on the bottom of it so I put it back in, tightened it back down, pulled it out again and it was clean. So I put everything back together took it out again, it didn't spray but it was bubbling right at the bottom. Anyone have this happen to them or hear of this happening?

Try a new copper crush washer. Also, make sure there is no grit in there.

Cummins part.

no grit as in between the bottom of the injector hole and the injector itself..that way the crush washer doesnt sit on crud and won't seal properly regardless of whether its new or old..im gonna stick a vacuum hose in there first and then spray some brake clenaer into the bores and all should be well

I use a shotgun bore cleaning kit the swab gets everything out thats in the injector hole. You can order a injector install kit it will come with new crush washers, put a buger of grease on the injector to hold the washer while putting injector back in.
