During the test drive about 2 min in we went WOT and the truck pulled awesome then lost all power and died on the side of the road, would not restart and was pouring fuel out the tail pipe.,
Help?
.....when the truck was put back to stock it still would not fire. truck needed for work in the AM, any help would be great...

Sounds like the lift pump failed or the overflow valve failed. The lift pump has one way check valves that will pop apart and loose all fuel pressure and flow in less than a second, then the truck dies like you shut it off. If the exh pours out white smoke while cranking, it will probably be the pump timing slipped.
Ding ding ding.....
Got a hold of piers and several other places this AM and it was a collective thought that the timming skipped.
Got it set back to what we thought was ok.... it started. bumbled a lil bit in the upper RPMs and we tried to set it a few more times, with no results on starting. The owner is working on the truck right now setting the timing another way right now....
Thank god the pump didnt die, the truck was 24 hours old when we turned it up
thanks for your help guys
